hey all teams...

as you are aware, all the boats are now parked inside the nursery and recently there have been a lot of teams launching their boats at the same time causing a "traffic jam" along the kallang shore. i would like to appeal to all teams to only launch their boats when they are ready to move off and not leave their boats by the shore while the members do their warm ups/ stretching by the pavement leaving the boats unattended. because of this, it is creating a lot of inconvenience to teams who are ready to move off as they have to wait for those teams who are doing their warm ups on the shore to move off before they can launch their boats. in fact this "traffic jam" can be a road hazard for teams moving their boats out of the nursery if they are not able to launch their boats immediately.

appreciate if all teams can be more considerate by launching their boats ONLY WHEN READY to move off.

thanks!

Agreed and it works on the return side too.  Sunday at noon there were at least 6 boats beached at Kallang, unattended, leading to congestion.  Not sure what teams, some of the boats had NUS on the side but I'm not sure who was using them.  Land your boats and get them off the beach so you can make room for others who need to do the same.

Oh, an while we're being civic minded, PICK UP YOUR DAMN TRASH.  Water bottles and sh1t are all over the beach and shed area.  My crew and I pick up a garbage bag full of other people's trash every week.  It takes a "special" person to leave their trash around at the training area.   :-[
We're not here to move the paddle, we're here to move the boat.
