Almost every team (tertiary) is going down, because they'd want to make use of all available competitions as there is no more Masters this year.

It's like a mini-regatta or something.

Lots of outside clubs too.

Huh... i think there aren't many tertiary teams, in fact i think theres only NP, SMU, RP, NYP Elias(i dunno if this is the DB team) and apart from this there's also NJC.

I think besides RP and NJ we are still lacking powerhouse NTU and NUS to make this a "mini regatta".

yea, big tertiary powerhouses did not appear in the line-up this time. As for this race matching up to a Mini Regatta, i personally don't think so. Am surprised to see SMU'name popping out for this race, they seemed to have disappeared after last River Regatta though.   ??? ??? ???

NTU and NUS would be tied up in their exams for this race. I doubt it would be important for them to take part since its a short distance race. THey would definitely be training up for the long distance races(800-1000m). Btw where did u guys get the race line ups from? Mind sharing?

Cheers!

if you attended the team managers' meeting you will have an idea of who's participating and who's not. the official team line-up can be found on PA Water-Ventures website.

Again we may see "CSC" teams..... recruited just for the races. Let's keep our fingers cross    that this will not happen....

what do you mean? imports?

regardless, besides mountbatten, which other csc teams are traditionally considered to be strong? based on last year's regatta results paya lebar and tanglin-cairnhill were 2nd, 3rd respectively. any news on how they have been doing or any recent up-and-coming teams to watch for? especially since the csc race category has the largest contingent in PA Paddle Champs.
