What's done been done I feel.

I feel that it's the paddlers that make the difference because not all coaches might be paddling for their respective teams?
Both coaches AND paddlers have to work together to achieve a superb results.
Coaches + Paddlers + 100% focus = Good race set.

Because having a big team, a coaches job becomes relatively difficult. It's hard to convey messages across the team, to correct each and every single individual in the team. It's really not easy.

Moreover, it's the paddlers who are able to focus as much during their own team training and who are able to rectify their own flaws that make it count.
If u have a team full of focus that'd be nice.
BUt the thing is that we don't see much off it.

the team that is able to focus harder will have a higher chance of winning.
that's what i stand for. ;D

i believe we all know what we feel in this scene... while we own have our own opinions, lets not be overly critical of all who have put in immense effort into their trainings and coachings...  Kudos to all who have won.  This year's SDBF is definitely an eye-opener...

Wonder if NTU used their best 20 in the men's opens... how close will they be to the likes of mountbatten and SCF??  Anyway, who got 3rd in the mens opens?

Looking at the Polite again...

Men,  5th ITE,  6th NYP
Woman, 5th ITE, 6th NYP
Mixed, Second Last ITE, Last NYP.  But only got 4 team in this event...
If the Mixed have 2 more team...... SP and TP...

Maybe I am wrong in labeling ITE & NYP coaches as Very average Coach will no proven track record.  ::)  Sorry to Pat**** & Jac*****, you guys are good coaches.

Maybe I must change my mindset and start to say, all the Coaches in Singapore are GOOD regardless of the race result.

i am lame... haha

Everyone are good coaches, but only some are able to produce a top 6 Finalist.
