to prevent bum abrasion from all that rubbing with the seat of course hehehe  ;D

you mean you did not experience it b4?

its not in the online catalogue, but it sure is hanging there the alexandra road ikea kids section. my teammates just went to get it last week. it probably for kids or babies to sit on.

hahahahas, yeah, haven't gotten any abrasions before in my 1 year of dragonboating, i had one once, but gave it to my teammate.

i find it annoying especially when you're charging and it drops out of your seat. lol.

abrasion to the ass is shitty. Always burns in the shower and then itch for a whole week.

if you ask me i rather have a pad. at least it stops me from sliding off my seat during charging or starts. Falling off ones seat in a race is traumatic....
Paddlesup!

coz you can use the seawater as something to prevent friction.

i've gotten used to the seats though my ass still aches occasionally.
