4th Temasek Regatta

The regatta, organised by Temasek Polytechnic will be held at Bedok Reservoir on he 18th & 25th of April.

really got to beware of this bunch of joker, they are not out for race. If they dont knock onto your boat during the race, they will be angry till they capsize themselves.

They are a laughing joke 2 year ago at Penang when they capsized during the race. Real disgrace to Singapore

I believe Temasek regatta is organised by Temasek Poly in conjunction with SDBA. Seems like many B and C division school teams go for it.

If you ask me, I don't see why they have to organise such a race so close to the National Schools.

The thing about collision, bound to happen if a cox is inexperienced or disoriented.

Cox Tip: Aim for a target object straight down your path and don't take your eyes of it.

All these redundant races are just money-making scams. Not to mention PA Paddle championship is to be held on the very Sunday after Temasek Regatta. Why are there so many races in SG and yet the standard of racing remains low? Wy are they so closely packed together? This simply reflects the apathy (bochup-ness) of the organisers in coordinating and coming up with a well spaced out race calendar.

For me its just the SDBF and the Regatta, maybe the national schools for the students. The rest are just for money-making and not representative of the racing scene since alot of teams do not take part.
