From what i know is each country can send a max of 5 teams for each category/event. So I guess quite a good no. of SG teams can make its way up to Penang next yr as there are quite a number of events to race for.

I believe its SDBA who will select the teams to go up and compete.  :)

It will be fair if SDBA organises a selection race. We need to send only the very best teams to compete. It's world class.

from what I heard the top 4/5 teams at the next MR500 will be eligible for the race.

now why would SDBA use a non-SDBA event to select teams for CCWC? doesn't make much sense to me right?

Ya, I find it fair enough for SDBA as the selection body to choose the team. I thought it's through Masters Series?

Yes, wat i said was that SDBA would be making the selection. But they would most prob do it at a SDBA event, not a SAVA event. But then again, i'm no huthuthut, so i don't have any SPECIAL insider info, so only LWK n huthuthut knows how they're gonna choose.

I think he's referring to the MR500. MR500 is organized by SAVA.

is it true they are going to use MR500 results mental? Where did you hear from? Makes no sense.

I think the Masters series result should be good! Just that many teams did not participate in the masters series so perhaps unfair to some of the teams. Will it clash with the June race?
Paddlesup!
