Xiang Rui? Never heard of this brand before man ... but it sure looks good. Somemore priced at $45. Sounds like a bargain ... especially for serious beginners or sch kids.  ;D

looks quite decent.... i went to weigh my grey owl and realise its 660g. looks like this xiang rui paddle is lighter than grey owl (i think mine is the club not the high performance)... but it looks just like the grey owl...

I have tried it in water before. Feels just like a grey owl. The quality is good enough, perhaps not the high-shine quality lacquer finish of the grey owl, but nontheless serve its purpose well.

Considering not everyone has the money to go for a carbon paddle, an affordable and  decent, light wood paddle is still the staple paddle for most of us. I use a wood paddle for training and competition so will like to refute the fact that they can only be used for beginners or school kids.
It is all just in the mind.

what is the price of a grey owl club nowadays? I know i had mine for $70 odd about 2 years ago. Is high performance more ex? How much better is it compared to club?
Where can I paddle? I just got out of Vault 13!
