I heard news about some 5-crew dragonboat race. what is it about? anyone have more details? As in 4 paddlers + 1 steerer? or what?  ???

haha. i feel its a waste of money because teams just need to field their strongest 4. the rest of the team just become cheerleaders.

not true actually. one full 20 men boat can be divided into 4 boats. can send 4 teams mah

I'm beginning to think they're gonna use small sampans instead!

they had these small boats for the Chinese Gardens race, hadn't they? coxswain using normal SDBA paddle instead of the usual sweep paddle.
