if i nvr see wrongly.. i dun think they sit on it.. i think they put it on the floor and place their legs on it, somehow like simulate the kayak's height and not lifting their body higher from the water...

oh is it that they are trying to have a 'kicking' platform so as to better exert power?

from wad i see sometimes when we load up during the sets, no.. unless they decide to put the blocks under their asses only when the race is abt to start.. but wad i think is ya perhaps to simulate the kicking feel in the kayaks (notice they always have their knees above the "gunrail" or how u spell it.) .. afterall they are kayakers? i dunno man. gotta ask them then we can b sure? but 1 think I know for sure, if they dun bring it the next race.. meeans they have been sitting on it.. ;)

This is interesting. Especially when it comes from SDBA. So are they implying the current SDBA's paddles cannot be used for SDBA's competitions as well? I'm sure they are not IDBF certified. I hope SDBA can clarify on this.

Who would want to use SDBA paddles during competitions? Maybe they make exceptions for fun races like CSC races.

I think it's time for a revolution.

i think certified as in the 202a kinda paddles and as long as its within 51", should be acceptable.. wads more i dun see how those j**** will move the boat faster than any other paddles in the market.
