it seems like an incredible coincidence of sorts. renting of kayaks are suspended for the time being. What about dragonboat rentals?

I believe is due to the floating grass in the water which entangle to the vest, resulting in a pulling down effect. Even swimmers will find it hard to swim up

Cheers =)

According to the news, his lifevest slipped out after he rescued his wife. What i see now is to educate members of the public on water safety; like how to properly secure their lifevest.

Another body was found in Kallang waters.. That would make 3 water-related deaths within 1 week..

A series of water deaths, only one of which is related to water sports. It seems despite series of drownings since the beginning of the year, people are continuing to put themselves in danger without taking precautions near water bodies. This apparent disregard for personal safety is disturbing. Are people trying to tempt nature or simply think too highly of their luck or swimming capabilities?

To think that these drownings happen as PUB is launching the ABC campaign to open up waterways is also very disturbing...
