Hmm.. But what about SIM? I heard half of their boat is made up of National team paddlers.

Can anyone verify this?

It used to be NTU that supplies the bulk of nteam paddlers, then NUS, now its SIM?

I heard of that too! Is this rumour becoming a fact? or pure nonsense? Any SIM rower care to verify this? And they seem to have disappeared for a while from the dragonboat scene in Singapore. Not many people know what they are doing now, and how good they are performing. Haha.

Sure to cause a big wave in this upcoming race! Might even pose a threat to NUS and NTU for PM Cup? We'll see.

Half a team of Nteam paddlers is not sufficient enough. The strength of SIM will be greatly diluted because of the other half who are let's say, above average paddlers.

Totally stand no chance against NUS. You guys have no idea how strong NUS is man .... Their standards are comparable to that of Nteam.

NTU i have no idea. Perhaps they will have a surprise for NUS again this year. I think NUS will be very cautious this year. Perhaps not even sending its "A" team to the tertiary finals, just to conserve for the all-out assault for PM Cup. I'm sure they are aiming for a thrashing on other teams, to restore their pride and dignity for last yr PM Cup.

I'm not surprised if their standards are comparable because both teams have the same coach.

the results will speak for themselves...

writing off SIM like that....speaks of disrespectfulness  ;) you don't need star paddlers in this sport, just a real team  8) no need to speak of nteam or average rowers..

I'm no fan of any of the tertiary teams but give them credit for training hard please...except SMU? just joking. haha. but where on earth do they train.

It's not about being disrespectful. It's about stating facts.

NUS / NTU train harder and they are definitely hungrier. SIM just doesn't train as hard it's as simple as that. SMU like what u mentioned .... looks like they hardly train.

PM Cup Men:

1) NUS
2) NTU
3) SIM
4) SMU

That's my bet on the outcome of the race.  8)

my my.. tts the last thing you would want to do.. underestimate ur opponents and when they come charging taking u seat by seat, and when ur charging doesnt come up against them, it will deal DOUBLE the damage. DOUBLE DAMAGE mind u guys..!

p.s. im no SIM paddler jus not taking any teams in this race for a weak team. furthermore, SIM missing so long.. prolly secret training?
