NUS, SAFRA, SIA airlines, SP, RP, SPC... these are all i can think of la... SPC won bronze i think. Apparently NUS was disqualifed because for not drumming. thats what i heard. If not, they would have gotten silver for men's open. i think they were like 1 or 2 secs behind indonesia team. Damn good la. Indonesia got 2 min 3 sec for 500 m. Without charging can still win.. power gudegak! NUS was also good, being able to stick with indonesian team.

There's also German Dragons (Singapore) and SMU.

Indonesia national team swept gold for every single event, leaving other teams to scramble over the 2nd placing. The 2nd best team in the whole race will be the Thailand Bangkok team: tiny, little girls but paddled fiercely to come in 2nd place for most of the events. And of course, not forgeting our very own NUS. Too bad they got DQed for the 2nd position in the open race ... but nevertheless, I think NUS has done us very proud.

Thumbs up for NUS!

aint it abit harsh? i mean drumming? isnt a dragonboat race's main thing is to see who can motor the boat first thru the finishing line instead of the level of musical competency? Im ignorant but is this an IDBF requirement?
It is all just in the mind.

anyone heard about the situation that arose between Seahawk and Penang City Garden Youth in some the just over Malacca race semi-finals? I heard bits and scraps but not sure. Seems like at the end Seahawk automatically dropped out. Anyone knows?
