SDBA-AUSTCHAM 10km Challenge 2007
« on: March 26, 2007, 23:09 »
The ultimate in local dragonboat racing scene in terms of distance, jointly organised by SDBA and Australia Chamber of Commerce. Please refer to the SDBA website for details.

10km Challenge

This race is only open to paddlers 18 years and older. This leaves the JC and Poly teams to concentrate on the Master Series.

My take on this is that the MR500 throws training schedule out of the window for everyone. After training for sprints, how does a team trains up for long distance within 1 month? I guess teams have to be selective then.
It is all just in the mind.

Agree. But probably SDBA doesn't consider 10km race as a serious race.
Nieh Nieh ... You suck!

if i remember correctly, SAFRA won last year. There was a serious multi-boat pileup and SAFSA capsized.

I only know one of my friend paddling for it under Mountbatten. Other than that I only know there is an after race party with BBQ and beer.

Victoria Bitter!!!!!!!

Where can I paddle? I just got out of Vault 13!
