It's nice to wake up late on Sunday mornings and enjoy a brunch spread with no hurry, you know...

Rather than 'giving up', I'm just 'taking a break'...

Jeffery sells lifejackets too. If not, Ah Hee (NTU girls coach) sells them as well. No offence to pcgwee, not trying to snatch away your business. =)

No problem. I don't run a business, just passing on my personal lifevest to someone who might need one at a lower cost than a brand new one. Yes Ah Hee and Patrick (previous National team members) sell lifevests too, but slightly more than 20 bucks. And of course, there are other alternative sources out there too.

they should just do away with silly lifevest for drgaonboating because,

1) the chances of a dragonboat capsizing is low, very low, unless you do silly things like rock the boat too much, which nobody do during training.
2) they totally cause abrasions, especially the bulky SDBA ones.
3) they gives u unnecessary tanlines so that you have a white torso and black arms.

I do not like wearing lifevest too but we ain't got a choice. It's in the rules and whoever organizes the races or owns the waterways gets to make the rules. Especially if the races are to be run in accordance to international standards...

Sure thing! Mine's washed with clean tap water after each use and dried off under the sun, so if anyone's interested in taking custody of it, pm me...
