Any one has the results of the race? Which local teams went there to compete?

Sorry if i'm asking a stupid question. What is a long boat? how long is it compared to a dragonboat? HAHA.  :lol:

yup. I came across this website. It states that the Thai traditional long boat races requires 55 paddlers to paddle!

With regards to the Perlis Long Boat race, i've spoken to some of the rowers that were present and it's just a normal SDBA boat. Plain and simple. "Long Boat" is just a fancy name for the race.

From what i gather frm those that went up, it seems that the national team came in 2nd in the Grand Finals. Not bad for a team newly formed. Can Naziman really work wonders?

Maybe the "Long" in Long boat means Dragon in chinese? So technically, it is still dragonboat.

HAHA. just a wild guess.
