« on: February 28, 2007, 15:57 »
Singapore Canoe Federation will be hosting the Singapore Invitational Canoeing Championships from 3 to 4 March 2007.

The timing of the races are as follow:

1000 m events
3rd March'07 (Sat) from 9am-12pm

500 m & 200 m events
4th March'07 (Sun) from 9am-4pm

The countries that will be coming for the championship are Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Brunei and Russia.

On a special note, we will see 2 of our athletes, Mr. Shaun Ho and Mr. Dominic Eu up against world recorder holders from Russia and Asian games bronze medalists from Vietnam in the C2 200 m race.

It will be an excellent opportunity for the South East Asian canoeing countries to gauge each other’s standards prior to the SEA Games 2007.

Hydrotribe wish our Singapore athletes all the best in this championship.
